Maximum 5 weeks' rent for annual rent under £50,000, or 6 weeks' rent for annual rent between £50,000 and £100,000.
The maximum you can require is two months
Under the Renters' Rights Act 2025, the tenant cannot be required to give more than two months' notice. If not specified, it defaults to two months.
